Embarcadero West Rail Safety & Access Improvements, Oakland, Alameda County, CA

Embarcadero West Rail Safety and Access Improvements Project aims to implement improvements along the Embarcadero West corridor between Oak Street and Middle Harbor Road. The proposed elements include a Class 1 multimodal path, various crossing improvements along at-grade intersections, and considerations for an emergency vehicle access road.

PARIKH provided geotechnical investigation services. Scope of work included field borings, laboratory testing, engineering analyses, and geotechnical design. PARIKH developed pavement design recommendations for rigid and flexible pavement sections. Design included considerations for reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) measures to reduce total material costs.
