280/880/17 Stevens Creek Road Interchange Improvements, Santa Clara County, CA
The purpose of this $140 million dollar improvement project was to improve overall traffic operations of I-880/Stevens Creek Boulevard and I-880/I-280/SR-17 interchanges. The project was developed in three phases.
PARIKH provided environmental and Phase I initial site assessments during Phase 1 of the project as well as design of the I-880/Stevens Creek Boulevard Interchange reconfiguration, a par-clo conversion and auxiliary lanes (Phase I Project). PARIKH completed the Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the project included Geotechnical Design Report and foundation Reports for a new 825’ long direct connector from Route 280 NB to Route 880 NB, several ramp modifications and realignments, sound walls, retaining walls, and widening portions of 880 NB, Stevens Creek Blvd., and Stevens Creek Blvd. overcrossing. Project was completed within budget and on schedule.
