PARIKH Consultants, Inc. is currently seeking an Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a BS in Civil Engineering, with a MS in geotechnical engineering preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conducting geotechnical field investigations, including field drilling, site reconnaissance, marking exploration locations, obtaining required permits, and coordinating with the vendors
- Reviewing boring logs and preparing data in gINT
- Performing engineering analyses based on available data
- Preparing technical memoranda and reports under the supervision of the Project Engineer or Project Manager
Requirements:
- Proficient in communication with clients and team members
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter and initiator
- Able to work independently and in a team setting
- Flexibility in traveling to project sites and other offices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- A valid California driver’s license
- Experience with field drilling.
General geotechnical engineering analysis experience, such as foundation design, liquefaction analysis, slope stability, settlement evaluation, retaining wall design, or pavement design, is a plus.
Salary will be based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
